1) What are you outcast from? Everyone is a member of the community, and young, and you grew up there... And with your charisma and abilities, you would probably be rather popular, especially in a mostly good community.
2) I would suggest not being too withdrawn, it is a fast way to being irrelevant, and difficult to merge with the bard. Some is fine though.
3) Bahamut is fine... not really a deity that is focused on in the region, or by the gm, but it's fine. I would need details on why you were following him, how you learned about him, etc.

I was taking the brought in by someone else aproach, instead of happy mom and dad the smith raised me and I clung to a religious text.
I have not completed it yet, but I have a back story that I am working on. Being the most powerful of three brothers, while pretending not to. Best way I can put it is the "gets me out of trouble" part of Merry to Pippin (sp?) without the overwhelming desire for mischief.
However, when my character is comfortable with his surroundings he is quite social.

Let me work harder, and post when I have more time.
Thanks for the help.

Im really torn. I want to play a shadowy archer, but cant decide between Scout/Ranger, Scout/Rogue, or Rogue/Ranger. Plus I cant navigate any of the DnD boards any more, there are to many, and the format is confusing, so no help there.

I have a few questions that would help me forge my character.
The surrounding towns, how big / diverse are they?
If my character's father owned a vineyard (small in size) would it be locally okay for him to trade / sell it to the neighboring towns/ villages?

Would you mind my character meeting up with some local clergymen (who were more Buddhist in nature [find your own path we will only introduce you to the faiths and answer questions] instead of a Our god is best so follow him, kindof mentality?

Green is best!

45% human, 55% other (mixed, halfling, dwarven, elven, gnome, orc, other, in that order) for the primary town. 80% human, 20% other for the surrounding towns.

Yes, the vineyard thing works well.

Yes on the clerics, and there are several that would have been like that in town. Faiths are too diverse in the region to really proselytize too heavily for a single deity.

How long ago was the conflict that the town's creators retired from?
I was playing with my character's mother (human) and father (orc) being a veteran of the irregulars.
how old would they have to be?
also if it was too long ago I can tweak it.

So I was thinking about expanding upon my background a little bit so that I am not just trained as a weaponsmith but also a soldier. I was thinking that the area that we are from might have something like the National Guard, a military group that is trained as such but primarily stays at home and takes care of what needs to be done there, but is ready to mobilize if a conflict occurs. The reason why I was thinking about this is because the community doesn't seem like it would actually have an active military, but I don't know, I may be wrong and if I am then I could be getting ready to enlist, or going through a program like ROTC.

I am wanting my character to have weapon crafting skills, but also to have knowledge of how to build and use siege equipment (Know (siege engineering)), knowledge of tactics and military strategy (which I guess is Know (history)??), and just to have the mindset and skills associated with being an officer (albeit most likely a cadet at this age). I figure that being raised by a) a dwarf , and b) a master of nine, that I might have been pushed in this direction or at least had it as an option.

What do people thinK? Should I scrap it, tweek it, run with it?

1)conflict was around 135 yrs ago. So, grandma/grandpa, or great grandparents. Life span is fairly long here though, so it's possible you got second-hand stories and such.

2)that's fine, Dwarf would have trained you for a life of war, he just assumed you were going to gravitate toward it. Maybe you spent some time in the local militia, or perhaps you went off and joined a mercenary guild that's on good terms with some of the vets (similar to kerowyn in 'by the sword').

Architecture/Engineering & History, seem to be what you are looking for.

I have mostly (at IHOP) finished a this-game compatible Pathfinder spreadsheet. After I wake up (as I am still-awake) I will add some notes and instructions for use, but as it is it is largely functional and does a great deal of the game-math for you. Some features were harder to account for than others, but the sheet is still useful for virtually any build (monks are actually one of the most wonky, but fortunately I can fix a lot of those problems on my personal sheet, since I'm the only one playing a monk at current :P)

I will make it available for use after the notes have been added, provided I don't find anything else that needs work.

So what are we going to use instead of concentration for Diamond Mind? Initiator level check like that used for concentration checks for casters? Martial Lore? Say that Concentration still exists? Meh???

Edit: An idea that has been presented on the Pathfinder forums is to replace Concentration with Perception, it does actually fit with the flavor of the discipline.

Is Nymph's Kiss a viable feat? (this is for the +2 on cha checks as it is for skills, which I need...)

character sheet status unknown

concentration check as per casters (which also saves you skill points)

nymphs kiss is fine, but needs story.
