The Autobots and Decepticons have always been pretty evenly matched. I think in the movie that Megatron was a bit more powerful over all than Optimus, but he did actually win the fight they had, so...
As far as the other Autobots, their strength was in the fact that they worked as a team to beat their bulker Decepticon counterparts. I have to disagree with you.
I think the Autobots and Decepticons were quiet well matched.
I will say that both Megatron and Prime were in another league altogether, than the other Transformers. Each of them, when faced with a lesser opponent, was able to annihilate his respective victim with very little effort. I use the word 'victim', rather than 'adversary' because, well, those two fights remind me of that news paper clipping I have in which three bears chased a monkey up a tree and ate it. I mean damn, Prime melted another bots head with a white hot sword that popped out of his arm, and Megatron literally ripped Jazz a new one.
Anyway, as I said before, I personnally have to disagree with you on this one.

I am adding the ending of the recent Mummy, Tomb of the Dragon Emperor movie to this list.
No way the O'Connells had this. Jet Li could change shape (we only saw a three-headed dragon and an ogre, but the movie hinted that there were more forms...like he needed them. A three headed dragon, I mean...damn!), and he also had control over all all the elements. Oh, and lets not forget he's also a badass martial artist.
Yeah, I'm sorry but this guy was just a bit two much for our hero. The fights against Imhotep were at least written with some degree of plausability. Hell they never faced him when he wasn't either distracted, busy with spell casting, our castrated by Inubis...a god.
Anyway, I'm putting up a related thread for Imhotep vs The Dragon Emperor.

i don't like the mummy series, and i don't like the "common schlub becomes badass" trope generally, except when it is funny/cool, like in BTiLChina. so yeah, i would go and pay to see this if frasier got trampled by the dragon emperor, or perhaps if he were turned into a mummy and we had mummy-on-mummy action, but not for him beating up a demi-god. that's lame.

I actually do like the first two mummy movies. Rick O'Connell is a badass and its alot of fun to watch him fight/brawl with suoernatural creatures. Hiowever, this latest attempt put him in way over his head. The previous movies always made his fights with a supernatural power house seem a bit more reasonable. This last movie just made no sense at all, in the scenario the movie stes up there just isn't a good way to mortals win.
