Attribute Temples

Special "Temple" levels in the tower are located on floor levels that are powers of 10, and each is aligned with an attribute (e.g. strength, charisma). The temples house altars aligned with all known divinities and domains, as well as a mirror altar and an altar with a large, dark, empty hole (void). Meditation at each of these altars, with the exception of the Void, results in a character living out another life. The setting for the life is based on a challenge related to the nature of the altar and the attribute with which the temple is aligned. These alternate lives provide rewards based on the attribute alignment of the temple, the nature of the altar engaged, and the quality of a character's performance in their alternate life. Only a single altar may be visited for any given level.

Deific Altar
Lesser Accomplishment: +1 to appropriate attribute.
Moderate Accomplishment: +2 to appropriate attribute.
Greater Accomplishment: Domain granted power of deity's domains/subdomains or a feat aligned with the deity |AND| a spell-like ability aligned with the deity or its domains usable 1/day (see archives of nethys for lists of feats, spells, etc.).

Domain Altar
Lesser Accomplishment: +1 to appropriate attribute.
Moderate Accomplishment: +2 to appropriate attribute.
Greater Accomplishment: Access to a single domain or subdomain granted power |AND| access to all subdomain spells (or a portion of Domain spells) as spell-like ability usable 1/day.

Mirror Altar
Lesser Accomplishment: +1 to appropriate attribute.
Moderate Accomplishment: +2 to appropriate attribute.
Greater Accomplishment: A feat appropriate to the challenge |AND| a spell-like ability appropriate to the challenge usable 1/day.

Void Altar
Lesser accomplishment: Character is subject to the effects of visiting a Void altar (see below). The character gains a Void feat (see list below) or 8th lvl domain granted power from the darkness, death, madness, or void domains appropriate to the attribute of the temple |AND| a spell-like ability appropriate to the attribute of the temple chosen from among spells on the darkness, death, madness, or void domains usable 1/day.
Moderate accomplishment: +1 to appropriate attribute.
Greater Accomplishment: +2 to appropriate attribute.

Void Feats and Altars
Upon delving into the void, the character’s soul becomes linked to the void. From that point on, if the character dies, returning her to life proves to be more difficult. Any spellcaster who attempts to bring the character back from the dead must attempt a caster level check (DC = 10 + the slain character’s Hit Dice). Success means the spell functions as normal, while failure means the spell fails and cannot be attempted again for 24 hours.
Upon taking a second Void feat or visiting a second void altar, the character becomes even more connected to the void. She remains difficult to return from the dead (as noted above), and he can’t be affected by breath of life or raise dead. Also, the character’s alignment shifts to neutral or chaotic.
Upon taking the third Void feat or visiting a third void altar. She is affected as previously noted, and in addition, the spell resurrection no longer affects her. The character’s alignment shifts to neutral or evil.
Finally, upon taking a fourth Void feator visiting a fourth void altar , the character can no longer be returned from the dead by any method short of a wish or miracle. The character's alignment shifts one step toward chaotic or evil.

The emptiness of the void suffuses your body.

Two Void Feats: Choose one of the energy types listed above You gain resistance 5 against that energy type. If you already have resistance to the chosen energy type (even from earlier benefits of this feat), this new resistance stacks with the existing resistance.
Three Void Feats: Choose one of the energy types listed above. You gain immunity to the selected energy type.
Four Void Feats: Your creature type changes to outsider (native). Additionally, choose one energy type listed above. You gain immunity to that energy type.

If this feat disguises your alignment, you can use either your true alignment or the false one when using magic items with alignment prerequisites.
One Void Feat: The spell or special ability returns an inconclusive result.
Two Void Feats: Upon gaining this power, choose an alignment within one step of your actual alignment. Your alignment is always revealed as being that false alignment.
Three Void Feats: Upon gaining this power, choose an alignment within two steps of your actual alignment. Your alignment is always revealed as being this false alignment.
Four Void Feats: You immediately know when someone is attempting to use a spell or special ability to learn your alignment. You learn the name and alignment of the creature using the effect. Additionally, you can choose any alignment as the result returned by the spell or ability.

Updated. Included outlines for everyone's experiences and aligned each life with a specific world (you can piece together a rough outline for the story of the world from people's individual stories if you try). I still need selections from Adam, Angela, and Nikki.
