I would like to see a bit more than a single word. I want colorful description. I want something poetic, and awe inspiring. Like:
The Mercy's Edge
The Fist of Heaven
The Solace of Strangers
The Promise of Dawn

I like The Paladin. It is perfect imagery for a rescue/diplomatic vessel.

Would "Endeavor of Mercy" or "Endeavor" for short be acceptable to everyone?

I'm good with 'Endeavor of Mercy'. Im not sure what people have against longer names, but I think they have a lot more flavor. People can call it the 'Endeavor' for short so it works to appease multiple viewpoints.
