Updated again. That spear is a frostbrand in longspear form, btw, and it has three crystal slots of varying size that can only be used to insert Crystal of Energy Assault Cold (least, lesser, greater), unless you want to use only the first slot, in which case it can use any stone but only one.

Still have one pendant left. Whoever has a neck slot open, take the damned thing. Paul has the other one.

Im going to post again on this issue, I don't want to seem dickish, but I don't think I'm out of line, so...

I feel that of the characters without primary stat boosting items, I should be at the top of the list to receive one. There is a belt, which fits this description. I realize I have like 5 items already, but only a few are important (I still don't know where that headband came from). I am willing to part with some of the stuff I already have if need be.

I don't need the dagger, I was carrying it cause no one else wanted it. The acid stone is cool, and fairly well suited to my role so I should keep it. I was given the shirt, and ring based on a group consensus, thus I do not care about them. The headband... I have established I am not a caster ranger so it does very little for me.

In short I have pretty much been handed a bunch of stuff I have no attachment to. There is now an item I could greatly use, and I would like to have it. I don't want to deprive Jen of goodies as this is all fairly new to her, but I wanted to voice my thoughts here. Besides arguing over treasure is a time honored DnD tradition... :D

I have no problem with your taking the belt, Josh. The reason I said "I wouldn't mind it" when Paul wanted to switch out was to let people know I'd be willing to take it if it wasn't going anywhere else :) I'm perfectly cool with it going to a player who's been with the game longer. Also, I hadn't really been paying attention to this thread since Cheyne updated it ("with colors") a few days before your first post, so I didn't catch your hinting. ::can be highly oblivious::

Amulet of Retributive healing. Actually very good for your char, or so everyone thought. You can look it up when you get here today.

I took a cloak... everyone else that can wear one, should do likewise. There are plenty to go around, and they are a really good item.

Any rulings on ghosts and magic items? I'm not sure if we're still able to wear shit or not - I don't recall ever reading anything one way or the other.

The ghost template states, that when a ghost forms, ethereal copies of its possessions form with it, while the original items stay with the remains. If those items are removed from the remains the ghost loses the ethereal copies. Also, ghosts manifest, but this only means they become visible, they retain an incorporeal state.

I would personally think, that because of their noncorporeal nature, ghosts would only be able to touch, and thus use weapons, and armor with ghost touching, and nothing more. At least as far as acquiring new items goes. They apparently come into being with all the stuff they died with, and could use that too. This is of course contingent on the original items staying with the remains.

Final rulings are of course up to Cheyne, but this is what I have been able to find.

Josh's ruling sounds accurate and reasonable... just devote a bag of holding to the remains of your friends and all is well... and creepy.
