Voldemort vs Tim Curry as the Devil

Post by Liquidprism »

Harry Potter's arch nemesis vs Tim Curry in Legend.

Based on sheer malevolence alone who wins. Neither can stand the sunlight. Both are defeated by young stupid kids. They both eat unicorns....

Ready, Fight!

tim curry is the embodiment of absolute sexual evil, no force in all the cosmos or beyond can stand against him, unless they are specifically scripted to do so. tom cruise lost that fight in reality, and later became a butt pirate sicko scientologist.

malevolence alone? tim curry's devil. hands down. Voldemort is too incompetent of a villain to stand up to sexual evil. sure he's mean, but honestly his evilness is not even as much as Maleficient, the evil cat from disney's cinderella.

I agree, Sexual Evil is the only true evil.

see, thing is, what did the guy ever do? tim curry just sexed at the lead girl. oh, and he hurt the poor wittle horsey. but if beating horses made you a force of omnipotent evil, john wayne would kill them both.

voldemort, as much as i hate to say it, is the clear victor. he killed bunches of people, has multiple lives that he tore his soul to pieces to get, and he does most of what he does just to be a dick. in malevolence, or power, i give it to voldemort.

There a lot to be said for sexing at girls 'evily', but alas I think Cheyne may have a point.

Dont forget that he had the last mated pair of unicorns violated by the girl so he could kill one and end their race's expansion (and steal the horn)... after all his minions were much more effective than those chicken shit death eaters

I think you all are forgetting one very large factor here. Voldimort is a fuckup. In how many books in a row did he manage to utterly fail, and run away with his tail between his legs?
And then, when he finally learns his lesson and just starts avoiding the little bastard, he pulls out his secret weapon: Vandalasim, Mass property damage, and Political dissonance.

So what it comes downto is really; Evil king of the burecrats VS the Lord of Darkness, Ruler of the Underworld.

If your vote has not already been swayed I will remind you; at the end of their respective tales, which one is dead, and which is drifting in the void of space ready to land on DS9, kill the Sisko, and take over as it's rightful leader?

I think that even Tim Curry the actor may be able to defeat Voldimort.
Out there somewhere there is a Tarrasque eating delicious epic corn waiting to start a journey...

I think by casting tim curry they invoke a lot more evil than just the character as written can bring to bear. It's like casting bruce willis as a random bank teller. His screen presence alone changes the character. So, Tim Curry as the Devil is a very different character than say, Kevin Nealand as the devil. The actor himself is actually the ultimate being of sexual evil. The character he played is just the costume he wears every saturday anyway.

yeah... you know if you had just said tim curry i would have voted for him. but you had to go and make it about the character he played in a movie.

And this whole time I thought the Tim Curry thing was just me. Well, me and all the die hard Rocky Horror freaks in the world.

Dude, his character in Legend, IS his true form. That's Tim Curry's soul manifest on screen. He tranformed to play the part, and so we were ever so briefly exposed to his ultimate manifestation. Hell, He could probably fight Goku in his ultimate form, and win, just from pure unadulterated sexual power (the only type of power a saiyan just wouldn't 'get').

no no no, saiyans can't be defeated the same way twice. But tim curry can sexually exploit a saiyan an infinite number of evil ways. And therefore win.
