Josh has some stuff planned out, so if people are interested in playing this sometime for a few games, this is an option.

I realized it would be possible to actually run this game through the forums if people wanted. It might actually be kind of fun, cause people could write out really neat descriptions. Dice could be rolled using Magic Castle, and I could dole out multiple missions at a time.
Wth so many characters available poeple could even run multiple, playing in several adventures at once. How do people feel about this? I would like a bit of feedback before continuing to develop this idea. BTW I have about three diffrent ideas for things to do right now.

i would like to play SOMETHING online. what that turns out to be, if anything, is not terribly important. my only hope is that someone else rolls my dice. i hate online rollers. and with games where you roll constantly... irritating.

but feng shui, marvel, wod, whatever.

I think Feng Shui has a lot of potential, as the discriptive nature of the combat would allow writing to matter more. The flavorful combats would be super cool to read IMO, and all the neat stunts people pulled off would be documented.
Another little bonus is people could play multiple characters, on diffrent missions. I really think this could work if people could devote themselves to being online and willing to type something maybe twice a week. I don't think thats to much to ask.

I could propose missions and ask for a certain number of characters to participate. Say three to four. Once I have enough voluteers I could start that adventure with those characters. I could open several adventures at once and have them going all at the same time. Also people could propose events they would like to see, or undertakings they feel their character(s) would be interested in seeing out.

I would propose that people commit to posting on any missions they were involved with twice a week. Combat would be easy, as we would just wait for people to post their actions, and then my response and the results before moving to the next shot.

Yes, the more I think about it this could work (if people are willing, which is of course the hard part). This game would be great for a text based medium. Of course we would need a system for dice rolling, but if we don't use a site I don't know what it would be. I personally don't like dice generators, but they aren't all that difficult to use, and they do get the job done.

BTW if its not to much trouble, I probably need to be a Moderator for this section (I promise this is a legitimate bid for power, and not just an excuse to have more  ).

I promise to volunteer to play and then fail to do so. But it's a good idea. We actually almost had fun fooling around in the feng shui forum I had on...somewhere. maybe shitpot v2? not sure the name.
