my two-cents... WLD would be... fine. Especially if the dungeon itself becomes more interesting and some plot rears its head. But, depending on how this week goes, will depend on my continued participation in it. I'm beginning to think that the WLD is meant as a supplement to a larger campaign rathe...

yeah, the lack of effort spent by primogen on the forums, and on the game overall, is often impressive. no clan plans, nothing discussed before games, nothing really in game half the time either. part of that is a lack of a compiled list of pc/npc's, which will hopefully be rectified, and a lack of ...

this is kind of funny. from both the boards and rl, it seems that the most concern for a reboot is coming from the people it is most meant to help, ie the non-power gamers. the reboot smooths out the power levels, reduces stratification, and overall need for rules knowledge. i plan on keeping titles...

kempo would be another soft striking art i think. anyway, i think i need to better understand the initiative/action sequence. give me an example w/three guys fighting, and show me the mechanisms at work allowing characters to pull multiple attacks, move from active player to the next, spend/refresh ...

first off, the good: I like seeing a non-symetrical system. Despite my own love of symmetry and things that follow recognizable patterns, it lends itself at times to a flavorlessness not at all suited to good storytelling, and sometimes stretches itself to fill in a pattern (hmm... i need a sixteent...

D&D: SoS - The Setting
For those that don't remember the setting (I know it's been quite a while since we last discussed this game) here it is: The World This is a classic "Points of Light" setting, as discussed in the pre-4th ed. material over at wizards. The world has a few well settled regions, each of which ...

not true. after the second summer you play, a character is fleshed out enough to do some real damage to the older characters. just depends on what you want to do and how you want to do it really. but, that said, the stratification is alot less drastic in NWoD. but yeah... i think starting over in th...

there are ways of doing that and still blending the old story in as a mystery element... kind of like a critical shift in fengshui or a time shift in a... um... time travel type story. but i don't know if people want to do that. i'd want feedback on what others want to do. YOU HEAR THAT PEOPLE?! I W...

i've actually watched a little, and it was fairly entertaining. i think the last time i watched it was when adam daniels wanted someone to go with him to a strip club, and i watched the ufc fight on tv instead of the ugly ass strippers. but maybe it just looked cool in comparison to the alternatives...

I specifically asked you about this because it was debated on the boards as overly restrictive and recommended DM decision. I went over both sides of this issue, both on this and the hellfire warlock, and you said it was okay for both... There is a way to still make the blasts bypass SR built into ...

Knights: OOC-System Transition
In the hopes of toning down house rules, streamlining the game, and generally making things better, I will be switching to the current edition of WoD for the Summer game and all future games in the setting that I run. Not sure yet on the exact transition method. Likely i will give characters a lump ...
